The Dancer

Kelly began dancing in her hometown of Buckhannon, West Virginia at the age of three. She was a member of the Augusta Youth Ballet Company performing in many productions throughout the years and trained for several years as an Irish Step Dancer.

 

Kelly is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Slippery Rock University. While at SRU she has been able to study modern, ballet, jazz, tap, and the classical Indian dance style of Bharatanatyam. In August 2015 she was able to travel to Paris, France for a week to study the art and history of ballet. She is also a member of the National Honor Society of Dance Arts as the Public Relations Chairperson.

 

Through the university, she discovered her love of teaching. WIthout all of the teachers influencing her throughout her life, she would not be where she is today. She hopes to share her love of dance and inspire students in the future.
