The Public Relations Professional

Kelly Page discovered Public Relations while at Slippery Rock University. She has had an interest in promoting artists since the age of fourteen when she began promoting small bands coming to her area but never imagined she could make a career out of it.

 

Originally only studying dance at SRU, she realized how important these promotional skills could be for dance companies. Kelly quickly visited SRU's Communication Department and found herself loving the public relations courses.

 

Kelly found the perfect balance between dancing, technical work, and public relations. She hopes to one day work for arts and entertainment organizations to share her passion with the world. She is dedicated to saving arts programs around the country by using public relations campaigns to show just how important these programs really are.
